Picasso at the Lapin Agile

This play, written by Steve Martin, in 1993, features fictional versions of real-life characters - Albert Einstein and Pablo Picasso - meeting at a bar called the Lapin Agile in Montmarte, Paris.  It is set on October 8, 1904, as both men are on the verge of introducing amazing ideas to the world. The production in 2013, by Actors Ensemble of Berkeley, was directed by Anna Anderson and starred Nick Dickson, Vince Faso, Bill Chessman, Stefin Collins, Doug Boyd, Joel Jacobs, Hillary Hesse, Meira Perelstein, and others.
