What Women Want (or the Marriage of Sir Gawain) was a delightful musical mash-up of the Wife of Bath's tale from The Canterbury Tales and the Arthurian story of Sir Gawain. It was written by local writer Vicki Siegel and a talented composer, Evan Alparone. Produced by Actors Ensemble of Berkeley in 2016, and directed by Bruce Coughlan, its cast featured Steve Beecroft as Gawain and Alexis Lane Jensen as the Wife of Bath, and included Kim Flynn, Alan Coyne, Terry Haley, Peggy de Coursey, Bill Liebman, Billy Rafael, Marsha van Broek, Will Reicher, Cameron Dodd, Annette Sousa, Veronica Toro, Ron Houk, Emily Stone, Virginia Corrigan, Jenna Peters-Ring, Christine Sheppard and Nils Skudra.
